Rebuild RB’s Privacy Statement
Rebuild RB respects and protects the privacy of those who visit and use our site. Thank you for visiting the Rebuild RB site and reading our Privacy Policy Statement. Rebuild RB is a Non-profit Corporation that was formed to support fire victims in Rancho Bernardo and the surrounding communities who were seriously impacted by the October 2007 San Diego Witch Creek Fire. We believe in the power of neighbors helping neighbors by assisting them to rebuild their homes and lives. We help connect them with private and community resources via a website, increase public awareness and distribute needed funds directly to registered fire families. Rebuild RB is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, publicly supported organization. contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
Grant Applications
As a part of the Grant Application process, Rebuild RB will share certain personal information collected about you or your family with other disaster relief and voluntary organizations participating in the Coordinated Assistance Network. Rebuild RB is required to share specific private information in order to coordinate available disaster relief services and assistance, and to reduce the paperwork and applications necessary in order for you or your family to receive disaster relief assistance and services from multiple relief organizations. All disaster relief organizations participating in the Coordinated Assistance Network are committed to protecting your privacy and using the information solely for the purpose of coordinating and providing individual and family disaster relief assistance.
It is the strict policy of Rebuild RB not to release information about individual or family disaster relief assistance, or other personal information obtained through the provision of disaster relief services, without the written consent of the individual or family. We will need your written consent to share this information to assist you or your family with obtaining disaster relief services in the most expeditious and least cumbersome manner.
Donors
All information collected by donors on this site is used by this site only. At no time will we loan, rent, sell, or otherwise distribute any of the information collected from this site or in email to any third party, with the exception of information that is officially ordered by an authorized law enforcement agency.
Email
We reserve the right to keep any email sent to us on a per-case basis, along with all information contained within the email. We do not post any information from email unless explicit written permission is provided from the sender, but we may occasionally maintain email for our own records or for legal purposes.
Changes
We reserve the right to make changes to this privacy policy, but we pledge that no changes will be made that will jeopardize the privacy of any applicants or participants. No changes to this policy will be made without prior formal notice on this Privacy Statement to reflect impending changes.
